The I.C.E Method – How To Make The Right Decisions Without Getting Distracted
[Issue #24]DECLARATION FOR THE DAY:
I plan what I want, and I stay focused on that plan.
(Say this 3 times today)
You’re bombarded with decisions to make every week.
A new product or offer, a bonus training, a meeting or a call, a new project, a new opportunity, etc., etc.
In the past, I used to say YES to everything. I thought I would miss out on opportunities if I didn’t say yes.
But over time, I’ve learned that it’s far more important to say YES to the right things and NO to everything else.
In this video, I share the exact method I use (and my team uses) to easily evaluate something and see if it is a good decision to move forward with.
This is super helpful, and I highly recommend you check it out… especially if you tend to get distracted easily or overcommit on things you think you can do.
Are You Up For A Challenge?
I’ve discovered the fun, simple, and EASY way to succeed online while helping a LOT of people.
In fact, I want to tell you about it during this 5-Day special “virtual event.”
If you’ve ever wondered how Harv and I turned his business into an online, multimillion-dollar business so quickly… then you’re going to LOVE this challenge.
We start on Thursday, and hope to see you there! Click here to get the details now.
Weekly Thoughts
When I compare my biggest successes with ideas that flopped, I notice some obvious differences.
One of them is that I simply did not ask.
I didn’t ask other business owners or friends what they thought.
I didn’t ask my mentors their opinions.
And most importantly, I didn’t ask our students for their thoughts, experiences, and desires around the topic.
When I look at my successes and my failures, I realize that I get into trouble when I only trust my own experiences.
I’m not saying that you shouldn’t trust yourself.
But there are many times that your experiences, perspectives, and opinions are different than those of your customers.
You only know what you know, right?
So, before you spend a bunch of money or put a ton of effort into something, OR before you make that final decision … make sure you simply ask other people what their thoughts are about it.
Above all, make sure you ask your current or future customers. Those are the people who are actually going to spend THEIR money with you. Not getting their ideas is a huge mistake.
This will help you make decisions, and you’ll have a much better chance of success!
Now, one thing I need to say is, you don’t need to listen to everything they say. But you want to make sure you are not missing the mark and that you are on the right track.
I hope this helps!
Stay healthy, stay safe, and go get ’em this week. 🙂
To Your Success,
Jesse Eker
