Well, we made it… 2021!
I gotta say, last year was intense, but it was one of the most impactful years in life.
There were so many lessons to learn and so much growth to gain.
This year, things may not be different circumstantially, BUT the narrative and the story I’m personally giving it will.
Peter Crone, someone I follow, has a great saying…
“What happened, happened, and it couldn’t happen any other way… because it didn’t.”
Let that sink in a bit. Maybe read it again.
Now, I’m not saying last year was easy or ideal.
But we can’t change the circumstances we get.
We have to accept what is if we want to be peaceful.
If not, we will suffer.
So this year, maybe your keyword is … ACCEPTANCE.
Accept what is, and don’t create a subjective narrative around it.
Just understand it is what it is, and truly be at peace with your surroundings.
Even if it’s not ideal. You cause more pain resisting it than accepting it.
