“It ain’t about how hard ya hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.” –Rocky
Last month I visited Bedros in California and had to quarantine for two weeks when I returned to Canada… thankfully I had kettle bells, a balcony, my beautiful girlfriend, and Halloween to entertain me, lol… While with Bedros, he and I came to three conclusions about successful people…
1. If Your Values & Vision Drive Every Decision, You Have More Success & Less Stress
Don’t go chasing another person’s dreams… you’ll only end up with a nightmare.
Know what you will do – and not do – for success. Then use cut-o times and the power of Public Accountability to protect energy and time for what matters in your life.
2. If You Say NO, You Will Be Able to Achieve Great Things
The less you do, the more you will make, as you become great at what matters, and eliminate time spent on what doesn’t. Be ruthless with your time and strengthen your “NO” muscles.
BTW, Bedros and I are taking our own advice… And we are SHUTTING down the Empire Mastermind (a $500K a year revenue stream… to focus on building our 8-figure businesses).
3. You Must Be Accountable to Someone You Deeply Do Not Want to Disappoint
Every morning Joel Marion and I exchange accountability texts. He’s helping me with a weakness… and I’m helping him with his. I text Bedros with business updates weekly. And my team holds me accountable as well – and so do you!
So if you don’t have accountability partners – including me and in addition to me – then you risk falling behind and getting brought down by the toxicity of TV, temptations, and negative talk.
As you can see, a lot of our predictions apply to both good times and bad… So review regularly, and you’ll stay on track to your big goals and dreams.
Talk soon,
Craig Ballantyne
