You Can’t Grow Your Revenue Without This
[Issue #49]DECLARATION FOR THE DAY:
I focus on my current customers before new customers.
(Say this 3 times today)
Most businesses want to grow their revenue.
But they go about it the wrong way.
Today, I’m sharing the most efficient way to grow your revenue, and it’s not by getting new customers.
How’d the first month of the year go?
It’s hard to believe that January is over… Wow, that went fast.
So, how’d you do last month?
A great exercise I do is to rate myself in a few KEY areas. This works well to reflect, but also to re-prioritize what I need to work on for this month.
SO, here we go…
The 4 areas for me are…
– Health
– Relationship
– Personal
– Business
Now, each has a different meaning of success for me, and so I simply ask myself…
In terms of MY OWN success, am I a RED, YELLOW, OR GREEN with the topic?
So, for example, in terms of my health…
Would I give myself a red (a problem), yellow (needs work), or green (strength)?
Then, I’ll end up with something like…
Health – Yellow
Relationship – Green
Personal – Red
Business – Green
As you can see, my personal life was not very successful last month.
So that would be my focus for this month.
Then I would simply ask… What’s one thing I can do to move from red to yellow?
For me, that would be taking 2 half-days for myself 2 times next month.
I get excited about that and also feel good about improvement. It’s not hard, but it’s also going to take a small commitment to make happen.
Finally, I SCHEDULE IT.
It’s not enough to just pick what I want. I need to make sure it happens.
So I put it in the calendar because for me, if it’s not the calendar, it’s not real.
Now, I feel really great about raising the bar for myself on a personal level.
It’s simple, easy, and DOABLE.
Changes don’t need to be hard. This is a simple way to make adjustments in your life.
Hope you crush it this week!
To Your Success,
Jesse Eker
