Rich People Do This In Business
[Issue #58]DECLARATION FOR THE DAY:
I think long-term and stay on course with my vision.
(Say this 3 times today)
So you want to grow your business…
At the same time, you are in charge of your own income.
It makes sense to do things to make you more money, right?
Wrong… Here’s why.
When we focus on money, we are usually thinking short-term.
That’s great for now, but it’s bad for where we are going, and in this video, I explain the big reason why.
Would you rather make $5,000 now or have a million-dollar business?
I think most of you will choose the latter… so today’s video will show you how.
Enjoy!

WEEKLY THOUGHTS
When you grow…
I was at a virtual event last week with 70 coaches who all earn a million dollars a year or more.
One of the sections was about buying back your time.
It was taught by one of my role models, Dan Martell.
He shared SOOO many things with me, but one thing really struck me.
I’ve stalled business growth at $6 million, multiple times.
And one concept that I believed to be true was BLOWN apart during the first 5 minutes of his talk.
In the past, for hiring, I always hired for things we WANTED to do.
We want to do this, so I’m going to hire an expert to do it or get an agency.
But what did that do?
It kept me in the same role I was in. Meaning that my daily, weekly, and monthly activities were still the same.
If you look at 90% of founders’ daily/weekly, calendar there are going to be many activities that you do that fall under your EFFECTIVE hourly rate.
Basically, take your total revenue / 2000.
And if that’s the case, then you can hire people to take those activities off your hands…
Now, why would you do that?
Well, if you don’t ELEVATE and GROW your role… then your business won’t grow either.
If you are stalled and doing the same activities to get you one result, then you can’t expect to get a different one.
So when you GROW, your business grows…
It was an “oh F*ck” moment.
Instead of growing the business, I was stretching the business and adding more to my plate.
Versus… Buying back my time so I can grow the next part of my business, which is in… Product, Marketing, Sales, Client Success, or Ops.
Now, of course, you can hire people to do all these things…
But you still need to be elevating what you are doing continuously.
Your next hire should fall under buying back YOUR time, not other people’s.
BOOM!
To Your Success,
Jesse Eker
